Tutorials > How to support MPEG II as input format:
If Videozilla is unable to support your MPEG II video, you may install third party MPEG II decoder to support the conversion:
  1. Download the latest FFDShow at http://www.free-codecs.com/FFDShow_download.htm
  2. Unzip FFDShow and run the FFDShow setup.
  3. During the setup, check "MPEG II" and select "libmpeg2" under "Decode the following video formats with ffdshow".
  4. Complete the setup.
  5. Right-click your mpeg II video and convert it with Videozilla.
  6. Select "use ffdshow (just once)" from the message prompt.

If the solutions above does not work properly, you may try the following:
  1. Check the installation folder of Videozilla eg. C:\Program Files\Videozilla
  2. Double click on the settings.ini
  3. Look for the entry AdvancedMPEG=0 under [MPEGSettings]. Update AdvancedMPEG=0 to AdvancedMPEG=1
  4. Save the settings.ini
  5. Right-click your mpeg II video and convert it with Videozilla.
  6. Select "use ffdshow (just once)" from the message prompt.
